Helping C-suite leaders as well as technical teams progress on their journey in the data analytics maturity model- Project lead for Snowflake data engineering project using dbt cloud for a major financial services company serving three different business lines- Project lead for data migration project for major broadcast TV company for a Rightsline implementation for seven lines of business given a six month time frame- Project lead for refactoring effort of a slow-running Java application process for a health services company by using PostgreSQL stored procedures, functions, and new database objects. This resulted in reducing the runtime from potentially days or weeks to just one hour- Served as engineer and analyst in a Qvest internal analytics project using dbt cloud, Google BigQuery, and Google Data Services- Created resource-loaded workplans, project timelines and presented plans to prospective clients- Led current state and future state architecture analysis sessions with various stakeholder groups- Migrated and validated data from AWS Redshift into Snowflake using dbt and S3. Ensured data accuracy and completeness by performing rigorous data validation- Developed thousands of dbt models, jinja macros, tests, and maintained project configuration and job schedules- Gathered, consolidated and cleansed source data that include data from MS SQL Server, Excel, and PDF- Transformed and validated data for migration using MS SQL Server and Power BI- Performed performance and load testing effort to test Java API performance. Used JMeter to execute tests, pgbadger to analyze database logs, and Cloudwatch to monitor RDS and application performance.
