The position entails being an on contributor to Master Control Operations providing quality control for and the delivery of the on-air product to affiliates and viewers in a 24/7 broadcast environment. • Monitor and maintain on-air continuity• Take appropriate disaster recovery action when necessary• Verify that program segments start and end clearly• Verify all commercials, promos, and graphics air as schedule• Monitor closed captioning, subtitles, and V-Chip for accuracy• Monitor feeds for correct language distribution• Have knowledge of broadcast automation systems, video servers, and graphics generators• Hands-on contributor to live event execution.• All other duties as assigned
