   Employee Engagement, Employee Relations, Strategic Planning, Team Building, HR Operations Scheduling/crewing on-site for defined shift or group of individuals at Plant Location according to the union agreement. Cover all call outs. Function as liaison to Supervisors and other members of Plant Staff related to any hourly position movement including, but not limited to Scheduling, Bidding, and Bumping etc. Manage hourly workforce schedules, post job bids, post job awards, manage vacation requests, transitional to hire workforce, seasonal summer students work relief, and serve as liaison on these matters to hourly workforce. Process additional HR Generalist duties which consist of employee engagement activities, Union grievances, Collective Bargaining, Talent management, Exit interviews, FML administration, attend Attendance union hearings, Interviews, Onboarding and New Hire Orientation, etc. Report on HR metrics as needed and performing personnel file maintenance. Cover weekend duties as needed. Contribute to efficient operations and maintain labor relations by accurately scheduling employees according to the plant’s collective bargaining agreements. Partner with Shift Operations to process production paperwork, conduct investigations, issue attendance disciplinary notices, and research grievances and complaints. Ensured confidentiality regarding employee’s disciplinary actions and Union grievances. Maintain employees’ attendance calendar, PA days and points reports. Assist employees with disciplinary inquiries. Prepare training materials and maintain documentation for new hire orientations, organize safety training, and job specific training. Active EHS team member. Collaborate with all levels of management and employees regarding callouts, production requirements, and employee relation issues.
