About Gal Dvoretzki
With over 20 years of experience in process development and materials engineering, I bring deep expertise and hands-on experience developing production and assembly processes for complex, multidisciplinary systems in the automotive, aerospace, and defense applications. I specialize in developing and transforming processes across a broad range of technologies, from R&D concepts into reliable, cost-effective manufacturing solutions, spanning component-level packaging to full system-level integration. My work has focused on the design and implementation of production processes and materials for electronics, microelectronics and electro-optics systems. Technical Skills• Materials and Production Processes: Adhesives bonding (die attach, optics, structural), laser welding for AA and hermetic sealing, vacuum reflow eutectic die attach, wire bonding, SMT & soldering, conformal coatings, and surface finishing.• Process Engineering: DFM (Design for Manufacturability), DOE (Design of Experiments), yield analysis, Statistical Process Control (SPC), root cause analysis (RCA).• Testing and Metrology: shear/ pull testing, Zygo laser interferometry, mechanical metrology, gross and fine leak detection, C-SAM, SEM, X-ray, optical microscopy, and environmental testing.• Standards and compliance: IPC, J-STD, MILSTD, ISO, ASTM, and RoHS/At Intel/Mobileye, I led full-cycle process development for automotive LiDAR system. Previously, I played key roles in the development and production of aerospace and defense systems at Kratos Defense and Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI). Before, I served as a Process and Quality Engineer at Orbotech Medical Solutions (acquired by GE Healthcare), developing CZT-based detectors for medical imaging applications.
