Directly supervise full-time People & Culture Coordinator & Administrative Office Reception - Act as Manager on Duty, representing the People & Culture team during major arena events, games, & concerts-Talent Acquisition: Manage recruitment for Event, Part-Time, and Full-Time Staff of both non-represented and union employees-Onboarding: Oversee onboarding tasks, including paperwork, background checks, and Form I-9 verification. Coordinate with IT, Payroll, and Security to ensure a seamless start for new hires-Event Coordination & Employee Engagement: Plan and execute internal events, activations & employee engagement; handling event planning and management, vendor coordination, budgeting, and communications-Employee Relations: Support the day-to-day operations of the arena’s People & Culture department, overseeing approx. 1,700 part-time and 115 full-time employees across unionized and non-unionized, multishift departments. Address employee inquiries and escalate issues as needed-HRIS Administration: Serve as the expert for UKG Pro and ABI Mastermind systems, ensuring accurate data management in collaboration with Payroll & Finance-DEI & L&D Support: Assist with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives and training programs in partnership with NHL’s Seattle Kraken-Policy Guidance: Provide guidance on company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance-Reporting & Compliance: Conduct audits, produce staffing reports, and ensure compliance with employment laws and union agreements-Project Management: Lead key People & Culture projects from start to finish-Internal Communications: Support internal messaging, including all-staff announcements and IPTV content-Leadership Support: Collaborate with Executives and VPs to drive organizational success.
