Identifying and implementing quick wins in health, safety & environmental performance for several waste operations contracts.• Training staff in health & safety practices along with incident investigation and pushing through actions to improve H&S culture - developing and maintaining training matrices and sub-contractor management.• Control of large scale industrial processes within a 210,00 tonnes per annum processing plant.• Strong commercial acumen used to divert wastes from landfill in the C&I sector;• Successful PFI bidding for a large civil engineering & construction company; • Engineering research/development in plastics & tyre recycling with product application;• Gasification and pyrolysis project development, gaining environmental permit and planning approval; project risk analysis and health & safety management.• Design of Local Authority fortnightly collection of residual waste covering homes.• Coordination & delivery of business support & academic expertise to businesses in Wales;• Development of waste management master plans for major European and Russian city expansion schemes. • Installation of one of the first environmental management systems in Wales (2002).
