It serves the youth for Baltimore City. I have served in numeral roles for the BCPSS since 2012, including serving as a long-term substitute when available.My primary responsibilities have been designing curriculums that align with the state standards, teaching computer science, and conducting seminars & modeling instructions. I independently teach several subjects including, but not limited to: Foundations of Technology, English I, Creative Writing, Algebra I & II, Biology, and Peer Group Connections. As adept as I am in individual mentoring, I also have thorough experience handling large numbers of students over 150. Most of my work is conducted with the help of projectors, to engage the students with visually. I also collaborate with parents to come up with solutions to help students who struggle coping up. As a senior teacher that other teachers approach for queries, I am exceptionally knowledgeable about incorporating technology, worksheets, and internal procedures. My students are my priority; I build meaningful interactions with my students assisting them with life outside the campus as well to be a suitable role-model. I once encouraged a class of students to rally behind a student to raise money for her to take up an online class, assisting her in becoming the first graduate of her family. During the Covid19 school closure, I led an initiative to raise more than $900 from salaried employees in my building to donate to hourly workers who were unemployed. Also, during Covid19 I used a Flipped Classroom Model to deliver distance learning using Blackboard Collaborate, Remind, and Google Suite.
