WHAT DRIVES ME My passion is in the area of environmental sustainability and the conservation/enhancement of nature. I am a holistic thinker who enjoys blending science, spirituality, and education together for the good of the community. Being a visionary, I am always thinking about ways to improve a program or initiative. As an innovator, I act on my thoughts to find solutions that will fix problems. KEY HIGHLIGHTS • Co-raised $1.5 million in 8 months to preserve local land for new farmers via co-founding of Poudre Valley Community Farms. Aligned efforts of farmers, public agencies, conservation partners, household investors, and philanthropic donors by facilitating dialogues, recruiting Slow Money advocates, and connecting with activists. • Achieved 60% increase in sponsorships in just 2 years by approaching new sustainability businesses as well as forest and agricultural agencies to secure support and involvement for Poudre River Forum. • Launched Living Soil Investments micro-loan program for local farm and food businesses which has to-date loaned to small businesses with a 100% repayment record.
