I am a strategy and delivery leader with accountability for large, complex country programs, spanning design, execution, and results. I bring a track record of shaping country and sector strategies, delivering results at scale, and building trusted partnerships. In my current role as World Bank Operations Manager for Pakistan, I lead a US$16 billion portfolio across 14 sectors, 56 investments, and multiple advisory and analytics services, guiding an integrated program and enabling operational excellence under a new 10‑year country partnership strategy that I helped to shape in 2025. In this role, I have also applied a collaborative approach to enable private investment, establishing integrated ways of working across public programs and private investment arms to create synergies, leverage talent and resources, and support jointly delivered investments and services. Earlier in my career, I led energy and infrastructure delivery—integrating evidence‑based policy, institutions, and financing to achieve results in challenging environments, including conflict‑affected and politically sensitive contexts. Having worked for 30 years across 16 countries and diverse cultures, often in complex and high‑pressure environments, I have learned that leadership grounded in listening, trust, and collaboration transcends borders. Building capable teams, investing in talent development, and creating inclusive environments where people can take ownership and grow has been a consistent focus throughout my career.
