About Gail Rodgers

Gail Rodgers is a former partner in DLA Piper\'s Global Litigation, Investigations and Compliance practice. Gail has spent most of her career representing Fortune 500 companies in national and global matters. Gail has led cross border and multi-jurisdictional investigations involving alleged violations of the FCPA, the UK Bribery Act, anti-money laundering laws, anti-trust laws, pricing laws, and anti-terrorist financing laws, among others. She has handled investigations of policy breaches, human resource issues, and graft. She has led both internal and government facing investigations involving numerous languages and cultures, from the identification of risk through remediation and closure. She has interviewed employees from the front line team to Senior VPs and has reported to and presented findings to the C-Suite and the Board. Gail has worked cross functionally with multiple internal disciplines including legal, compliance, finance, human resources, IT, sales, product development and others. Gail has collaborated with various external resources including investigators, forensic accountants, and subject matter experts. Gail has conducted end to end global compliance reviews and developed and implemented remediation plans with a strategic business and risk-based approach. She has assisted in the development of internal legal and compliance teams. Gail has managed a wide variety of state, federal, and global litigation, with a focus on pharmaceutical and medical device litigation for large multinational companies. She has developed strategy, scientific themes and defenses, and managed national discovery and pre-trial teams. Gail has managed a variety of commercial litigation including cross-border matters. She has developed global plans for litigation avoidance and resolution. She has undertaken global risk assessments and revised global client contracts to mitigate litigation risk and measurably decrease litigation spend. Gail has experience as mass tort resolution counsel, including developing resolution protocols and resolving thousands of cases nationally. Gail has guided clients in assessing risk, recalls of products, and re-launch of products. Gail\'s prior experience as an ICU nurse instilled in her the ability to assess and prioritize multiple urgent matters, to multi-task and to lead efficiently and empathetically.
