ABOUT GAIL KENT
Gail Kent has more than 25 years of high level experience of managing large budgets, finance, compliance and HR in a multi-lingual, multi cultural highly political environment. Latterly she was a Director in DG Human Resources in the European Commission, where she was in charge of a large directorate responsible for the Account Management centres (HR implementation centres for groups of DGs) Previously she was Director of Data in one of the largest DGs (DG Connect) and was also throughout 2016 its acting Deputy DG. Her responsibilities included both policy and programme management in the fields of Data Economy, including cultural heritage and education, and the Safer Internet for kids policy. Gail uses her skills as an executive coach and mentor. She is also Deputy Chair of Tavistock Relationships and is a member of the Independent Advisory Board of both the Institute for Policy Research at the University of Bath and of its Doctoral centre in AI. Underpinning this, she has a masters level FT diploma for NEDs and the Henley Professional Certificate in Executive Coaching ( EMCC Senior Practitioner level ). She would be interested in other trustee/ NED/coaching/mentoring roles in charities or the public sector.
