When I was contemplating my next act after Hewitt, I read the book The World Is Flat by Thomas Friedman. One of the many benefits of being a yoga teacher that I concluded from this book (in 2005) was that yoga teaching could not be outsourced to the internet.Of course, the world has changed and is now more connected! I just filmed three classes for the Anusara School of Hatha Yoga’s channel on YogaVibes.com (and did an Instagram live broadcast about our Invocation). We are brainstorming ways to reach the recovery community and I am excited to introduce Niki Myers and Kyczy Hawk (my teachers to teach yoga people in recovery) to see if they want to join this movement.
