I also lead scientific projects aimed at improving processes and yields, leveraging my expertise to drive innovation and efficiency.Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot chemical and analytical issues during production, ensuring smooth operation and optimal outcomes- Conduct experiments to enhance yields and refine production methods, focusing on PGs and EGT- Assist the Director with procurement tasks, including reviewing chemical data from suppliers and ensuring the availability of necessary equipment and materials- Perform quality control and analysis on materials, collect and verify characterization data, ensure accurate labeling, packaging, and compliance with national and international standards. Approve and complete batch release documentation- Handle special client requests, provide technical support, and ensure the company meets client-specific requirements- Work closely with R&D chemists, the Process Chemistry Director, and operators to uphold quality and safety standards throughout production- Participate in cross-functional team efforts, conduct interviews, scout candidates, and assist with recruitment to meet company objectives- Explore future R&D developments and new technologies (e.g, flow chemistry, retrosynthetic tools) in collaboration with the CEO and COO- Maintain accurate records, ensure proper documentation for material release, and enforce safety protocols during production and experimentation- Manage interactions with vendors to fulfill equipment needs, such as reactors, mixers, and flow reactors- Address technical challenges related to computers, machinery, and software, engaging IT support when required- Test and implement new technologies and innovative methods to optimize production- Prepare and submit grants to secure funding and support the R&D team.
