ABOUT GAGE SCHMID

As an Executive Assistant to the CEO at Custom Wood Furniture And Railing, I provide comprehensive administrative support and facilitate effective communication and project execution across various teams. I manage all email inboxes and calendars, draft correspondence to vendors, clients, and officials, arrange domestic travel for the CEO and his family, schedule appointments, and I am in charge of payroll and the reconciliation of expenses. I perform my duties while ensuring strict confidentiality of sensitive information. I also coordinate and prepare for internal and external meetings, oversee financial document processing, and assist with month-end close. In this role I have also: implemented company health and safety guidelines, launched a 3D architectural design service to expand clientele and boost project efficiency, and implemented Monday.com (Construction) to streamline the company\'s project management process.I received my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Boston University in May of 2024, where I have been recognized as a Dean\'s List Honoree and a member of the Alpha Alpha Alpha National First-Generation Honor Society. I also served as the Director of Digital Content on the Board of Directors of Boston University\'s International Relations Review, an analytical, policy-oriented academic journal. I have a keen interest in research, sustainable development, government, administration, marketing, and public policy, and I have honed my skills in digital content strategy, statistical analysis, and R&D. I have also contributed to publications where I showcase my interests in global security, regional geopolitics, and political theory, demonstrating my analytical and writing abilities.
