Honored to Serve as Director at Phoenix RanchI’m deeply humbled to share that I’ve taken on the role of Director for Phoenix Ranch, a mission-driven organization focused on trauma-informed care and creating pathways for young offenders to rise above their circumstances.This mission is incredibly personal to me. As a young offender, I spent many years institutionalized, navigating systems that often lacked understanding or support for the trauma so many of us carried. I know firsthand how challenging it can be to find hope, healing, and purpose when you feel stuck in the shadows of your past.At Phoenix Ranch, we’re rewriting that narrative. Our programs center on: Trauma-Informed Care: Acknowledging and addressing the root causes of behavior with compassion and understanding. Healing Through Connection: Utilizing animal husbandry, sustainable agriculture, and community to foster growth. Equipping for the Future: Teaching trade skills, technology integration, and life skills to empower participants.Every young person deserves the chance to heal, to grow, and to be seen for their potential—not their mistakes.
