Handling end-to-end central Procurement of indirect materials which includes IT Hardware / Software, ATL/BTL, MEP projects and packing material etc. for Pan India Offices and Warehouses. Understand and validating the purchase requisitions (PR) from User Departments. Preparing RFP, PFI and invite quotes from vendors as well as initiating commercial negotiations with vendors. Coordinating with User and Warehouse for material requirement planning, Goods Inward & logistics issues. Preparing comparative statements of the quotations received from vendors to select best source of supply. Tracking and monitor savings generated through vendor development, negotiations, part development/product substitution or any other such initiative. Nurturing relationship with vendors, monthly reviews & managing day-to-day performance of vendors to ensure meeting of service, cost, delivery & quality norms for the materials and services. Minimize escalations through resolving trivial day to day procurement issues with Accounts, Warehouse and User departments Ensuring timely releasing of all purchase order for materials and services. Maintain the Procurement data base on Price Movements, Delivery, Vendors and similar statistics. Reviewing previous orders, contracts & agreements to achieve best price / best quality procurement. Effectively follow up with the vendors to ensure service/material delivery on time. Co-ordinate with Finance / Payable team to ensure vendor payment on time. Responsible for overall budgeting, analysis & strategy for procurement sourcing and spend via proper order management terms for timely delivery.
