Hinkley Point C is a nuclear power station currently under construction in Somerset, England. It represents a significant development in the UK\'s energy infrastructure and is poised to be one of the largest construction projects in Europe- The plant is expected to provide 3.2 gigawatts of electricity, enough to power around 6 million homes. This contribution is aimed at meeting the UK’s energy needs while reducing carbon emissions as part of a broader strategy to combat climate change- Hinkley Point C will use two European Pressurized Reactors (EPRs), which are among the most advanced reactors in the world. These reactors are designed to be highly efficient and include enhanced safety features compared to earlier models.
