FAO is a specialized agency of the United Nations that leads international efforts to defeat global hunger and improve nutrition and food security. Some of my responsibilities and accomplishments have included:• Managing and maintaining the OER website (fao.org/emergencies) by identifying, drafting and updating content, ensuring compliance with FAO style and corporate web and social media policies.• Spearheading the launch and migration of the new OER website under tight deadlines and within budget.• Managing the division\'s social media accounts (Twitter and Flickr) and leading the development of in house and external social media strategies to showcase FAO’s work in emergencies context as a means to increase engagement on what humanitarian investment in agriculture can achieve.• Leading weekly editorial board meetings with various team managers to ensure increased visibility of FAO\'s work in emergencies across different digital platforms.• Researching and writing digital content in collaboration with technical teams.• Designing and producing digital content acknowledging resource partner contributions to FAO\'s emergency interventions.• Supporting decentralized offices, in particular L3 countries, in developing their digital presence on Twitter and Flickr.
