Experienced Network Security Engineer with a strong background in administering and supporting next-generation Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including centralized management via Panorama. I specialize in configuring security policies, App-ID–based rules, monitoring traffic, and responding to alerts such as device downtime, bandwidth spikes, and performance anomalies. My hands-on approach includes performing PAN-OS upgrades, coordinating with site engineers, and conducting device health checks and configuration backups.I bring strong expertise in threat mitigation and firewall hygiene, including domain and IP whitelisting/blacklisting, certificate management, and proactive monitoring using tools like SolarWinds. I am actively involved in L2 security operations, investigating firewall and endpoint alerts using CrowdStrike Falcon, validating false positives, and coordinating resolution of genuine security incidents.In addition to firewall security, I support remote access VPN technologies such as Netskope and Pulse Secure, and I am currently building foundational skills in Palo Alto Global Protect configuration and troubleshooting.
