Vice President, Personal Lines Claims @Nationwide

This role reports to the Senior Vice President for the Property Casualty Division. Ensures the highest levels of claims handling and customer service for Personal Lines Claims-Field. Directly collaborates with Finance, IT, Sales, Marketing, Underwriting, Product and Actuarial teams regarding claim activities and trends as well as product development, supporting and partnering in overall business unit strategies and goals. Manages financial results, including reserve adequacy and litigation management for the Personal Lines Claims. Guarantees that significant exposures are timely recognized, elevated and overseen by the appropriate staff members. Provides timely evaluation and analysis of coverage, liability and damages for all Property Casualty Personal Lines claims. Develops and implements overall strategies for division driving high quality claim results and delivering high quality claims service. • Leads a team of 8 direct reports including, 6 Associate Vice Presidents, an Operations Director and Administrative Assistance and responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and development. • Operates a budget of $250M.
