ABOUT GABRIEL MORETTI
If I had to define myself in one word, it would be curious. I love to learn about anything (seriously, anything), from the accounting and business-related information I deal with every day to things like the fact that kale, broccoli, and cabbage derive from the same plant and were artificially selected by humans through history (yes, that’s true). I find it even more exciting when the topics under discussion are related to social justice, racial and gender equality, climate change, nature preservation and animal welfare, causes I strongly support. For that, I invest a good portion of my free time on reading, listening to podcasts, watching documentaries and so on. This passion for knowledge helps me be able to find solutions, work independently and take on tasks that require a lot of attention to details and analysis, as I am naturally always trying to see the big picture and understand the causes and consequences of what I am working on. Careerwise, I am an accountant with several years of experience in full cycle accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, IFRS, and internal processes and controls. Technology-focused, I am great with MS Excel, Power BI and ERPs in general, having worked with QuickBooks, Sage 100, SAP, MS Dynamics, among others.
