ABOUT GABRIELLE ABINION
Gabrielle Abinion is the General Manager of Fox Valley Volkswagen in Saint Charles, IL. She is a proud Filipina/Italian-American. Growing up in dealerships, Gabrielle was always driven and passionate about following in her father’s footsteps and pursuing a career in the automotive industry. She attended Loyola University Chicago and graduated with a bachelor\'s degree in Entrepreneurship & Management in 2013. After graduation, she accepted a Sales Consultant position at Howard Orloff Imports, a Land Rover Jaguar Volvo franchise dealership in Chicago. She is a graduate of NCM’s General Management Executive Program and Ally’s Financial Leadership Academy. In 2017, Gabrielle moved back to her hometown Saint Charles, IL to join her family’s Auto Group as the Operations Manager. This led to an opportunity to become the General Manager of Fox Valley Buick GMC. It was at this time that she was introduced to General Motors Minority Dealer Development program through her Dealer 20 group and is now a member of the GM Dealer Development National Candidate Pool. In efforts to diversify her experience within the Auto Group’s portfolio, Gabrielle is now the General Manager of Fox Valley Volkswagen. In Februaryof 2023, she was selected as a finalist for the What Drives Her Retailer of the Year award at the 2023 Chicago Auto Show. In July of 2024, she was selected as a member of the 2024 Automotive News\' Forty Under 40. She has served as Chairman of her Dealer 20 group and is currently a board member of the Saint Charles Business Alliance, an organization that fosters the growth of small business in her hometown. She is proudly a committee member for Cal’s Angels, a non-for-profit driven to fund research and support families affected by pediatric cancer. She is involved with the Chicago-based non-for-profit Naomi’s House. Naomi’s House gives victims of commercial sex trafficking a fresh start by providing housing, job-skill training & placement and mental health services. Through the dealerships partnership with the organization, they have donated a vehicle to every graduate of the program since 2019.
