About Gabrielle Pullen
My name is Gabrielle Pullen and I am a freshman in the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, currently pursuing a BBA degree in Management. Through Isenberg, I am building a strong foundation in business, leadership, and organizational strategies while gaining hands-on experiences in numerous professional environments.I am a motivated and reliable individual with strong communication and teamwork skills. Through my academic experience and involvement on campus, I have learned strong time management as well as how to adapt quickly to new changes. I also take pride in being organized, detail-oriented, and always committed to delivering my best quality of work.On campus I am involved in the Isenberg Women in Business Club, a Correspondent at the Massachusetts Daily Collegian, and in the Isenberg Management Association Club. Through these different and diverse clubs, I have developed skills including event planning/coordination, interviewing practices, and strategic thinking, all of which allow me to have insight on my future career aspirations within the management field.I will always welcome opportunities to connect with students, mentors, and professionals who share an interest in management and the business community, so please feel free to reach out!

Each week, I supervise front-house flow by organizing and assigning reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists, while optimizing table turnover and guest’s wait times through my position as a hostess. I resolve guest concerns by actively listening, maintaining smooth dining experiences and satisfaction for customers, which is a highly important concept to me. I greet/seat guests warmly via communication and professional tone with knowledge of table rotation. I also often work as a cashier where I take down customer\'s orders, handle the POS system, and answer numerous questions surrounding the company and menu.
