My passion for social work started serendipitously, when I took on the role of an in-home direct care provider to support my college studies. At the University of Arizona, I earned a Bachelor\'s in Gender & Women\'s Studies-a foundation that still shapes my holistic approach to therapy. As a Tucson native with a deep commitment to the well-being of our community, I was drawn toward the helping professions.In 2020, I solidified my interest in therapy as I pursued a Masters in Social Work at Arizona State University. Currently, I am proudly licensed by Arizona Board of Behavioral Health as an LMSW serving clients through Transitions Counseling & Consulting in Tucson, AZ.In the therapy room, my focus spans from teens to adults. I draw upon diverse therapeutic modalities, including psychodynamic, relational, DBT, CBT, and motivational interviewing, all while upholding a client-centered approach.I am a proud member of the LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, and BIPOC communities, bringing a rich tapestry of personal experiences to better understand and connect with the diverse perspectives of my clients. My commitment is to foster an inclusive space rooted in trust, understanding, and genuine connection.When I take off my therapist hat, my passion for well-being extends to staying active with my dogs, trying new recipes in the kitchen, and engaging in sports. I firmly believe in the practical application of therapy in day-to-day life—a philosophy that underscores the collaborative journey. My clients can expect to navigate challenges, explore possibilities, and work towards positive transformation and growth in our sessions.I am dedicated to guiding, supporting, and empowering clients towards a brighter and more fulfilling future.
