About Gabrielle Honchell

I am a Healthcare CFO, who is involved in Operations, including as Acting/Interim CEO, to grow companies and their employees. I enjoy learning something new daily and applying it successfully, ensuring continuous improvement within my organization. The three things that really set me apart that I want to highlight are: 1) Unify Leadership 2) Organizational Presence 3) Upskill Team Unify Leadership – Every member of a leadership team bring their perspective which is necessary for the company to grow. I ensure the team stays on track by incorporating the individual departmental goals with the overarching company goal and open perspectives for each team member to see how departmental cross-collaboration assists with goal achievement. Organizational Presence – Leadership must oversee the company from all aspects by balancing all needs with the needs of departments and individuals. I gain respect in and outside the organizations I serve by being present with any responsibility necessary. Upskill Team – Early in my career, I was blessed with mentors who assisted me in growing beyond who I thought I would become. I believe in that growth process for those in my charge. Education does not stop with a degree. One of the biggest things I am most proud of accomplishing in my career is in my recent Acting CEO role, my facility was short-staffed on all our units, and I led all eight Senior Leaders, including myself, to work on the units in some fashion to provide the necessary support for our staff to succeed. My self-assigned duty was to be a Behavioral Health Assistant, ensuring the unit where I worked was safe for all patients and staff. Without this engagement, staff would have resigned, which would have resulted in the closure of units and loss of revenue. A Physician later told me that I exemplified leadership and that I’d accomplished something that he’d never seen before.
