As part of the External Relations team at The Forks, I support the creation of engaging, on-brand photo, video, and written content that brings Winnipeg’s most iconic gathering place to life across social media, web, and email channels.In this role, I collaborate closely with internal departments, tenants, and external partners to capture timely, authentic stories that reflect The Forks’ community-focused values and vibrant year-round programming. From content planning to execution, I help ensure our brand voice and visual identity remain consistent, welcoming, and impactful.Key contributions include- Capturing and producing photo and video content that tells meaningful, on-brand stories- Writing copy and creating visual assets for social, web, and email marketing platforms- Managing and contributing to social media content calendars in collaboration with the External Relations team- Strategically engaging with audiences through comments and direct messages- Managing and inputting approved events into theforks.com event calendar- Applying social media trends and platform insights to drive engagement and reachThis role allows me to combine creativity, storytelling, and community-building—helping create positive, memorable visitor experiences for diverse audiences at The Forks.
