Hi there, I\'m Gabriella, Founder of brainsparker, an EdTech business with card decks, coaching, and training programs designed to ignite creativity, spark new ideas, and inspire innovative solutions at work. I also write articles for Forbes.com as a member of the Forbes Coaches Council, and I\'m the published author of \"Gulp: The 7-day crash course to master fear & break through any challenge.\" But my life wasn’t actually meant to turn out this way…or was it? • Born and bred in New Zealand, I completed an honors degree in Food Technology, swayed by the vision of working in the Nestle chocolate factory. While that never happened, it has influenced my coaching style, which is pragmatic and outcome-focused, blended with a twist of vision and intuition. • Us New Zealanders are also known for our “Kiwi ingenuity,” a can-do attitude, and our ability to solve problems using unconventional approaches. So, with this in my DNA, it’s no surprise that I\'ve specialized in creative thinking and innovation with extra studies from Stanford and IDEO. • My corporate career took me to the far-flung shores of LATAM, USA, Europe, Japan, and the UK, working in the world of telecoms. With senior roles in marketing, product development, and branding, I always had one eye on the next horizon. That’s why I love working with people who are shaping the next frontier. • Then, in 2002, a twist of fate changed everything. The dot.com bubble burst, and I made the irrational decision to retrain as an Executive Coach. Twenty years later, I’ve coached some amazing leaders around the world in aerospace, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, FMCG, banking, and technology.
