ABOUT GABRIELLA PULERI

Hi! My name is Gabby Puleri and I am a senior at Wake Forest University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Schools, Education, and Society. My academic focus, along with my experiences, have equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of education, leadership, and community engagement. My time at Wake encompasses a range of educational opportunities. I currently serve as a virtual tutor, providing personalized learning plans to elementary students to enhance their academic growth and organizational skills. Additionally, I am an active member of the Education Student Leadership Council, where I contribute to shaping initiatives and coordinating events that promote student involvement and support. During my time off-campus,I have worked as a Head Counselor at North Shore Day Camp for two summers, leading groups of children in recreational activities and ensuring a safe and inclusive environment. My experience at North Shore Day Camp included supervising larger groups on field trips and mediating conflicts, which are crucial skills in inclusive educational settings. Currently, I am pursuing opportunities to leverage my passion for education and my skills in leadership and community engagement to create inclusive and impactful learning environments. I am particularly interested in becoming an inclusive childhood education teacher where I can support the diverse needs of all students. My goal is to empower students to reach their full potential by applying my experience in tutoring, creating personalized learning plans, and classroom management. My aspiration is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, especially those from underserved communities.
