WORK HISTORY
Assistant Professor @Phil and Penny Knight Campus for Accelerating Scientific Impact at the University of Oregon
Eugene, OR, US
Working at the interface of biology, chemistry, and technology, the Lindberg lab is in pursuit of a blueprint to bridge the gap between engineered and native musculoskeletal tissues. The development of smart chemical and biological toolkits for biofabrication provides a starting point for robust in vitro models and organoids. A key focusing is to engineer constructs with sufficient tissue quality that further replicates the native 3D organization of both healthy and diseased tissues. This provides a stepping-stone between the laboratory and clinic that can account for patient variability as well as highly inflammatory environments when developing new musculoskeletal treatments.
