ABOUT GABRIELLA CHERSICLA

Gabriella started her career joining KPMG S.p.A, Audit practice, in 1986. Since 1998 transferred to Forensic practice of KPMG providing services in the area of fraud prevention and investigation, litigation support and internal controls.From 2003 to 2011 in charge of KPMG Forensic Practice in Italy, leading a team of 20 professionals, developing business and local policies, in coordination with other member firm and the international network.Specific experience includes- expert witness in civil proceeding, private arbitration and criminal proceeding- expert determination in post-transaction disputes and other litigation support engagements- employee fraud and directors malpractice investigation- internal control and compliance program review with regard to the Italian Law on Criminal Corporate Responsibility- expert witness in criminal proceeding involving violation of antibribery and corruption legislation (D.Lgs. 2331/01, FCPA).In 2011 Gabriella started her own independent practice in Milan. Since 2012 Gabriella covered various positions as board member in listed companies in Italy, gaining a significant experience in corporate governance issues, such as managing board dynamics, also in activist situation, dealing with complex related parties transactions, acting as a member and Chairman of board and board committees. Gabriella is Chartered Accountant (Dottore Commercialista), Certified Auditor (Revisore legale) and Member of the Corporate Governance Committee established by the Milan Association of Chartered Accountants. She is also member of Nedcommunity, italian association of non executive members of board of directors.
