Maximise output of appropriate Reduce production costs.• Control all relevant costs within agreed budgetary values• Ensure products are dispatched to customers on time, or minimizing delays against acknowledged delivery dates where this is not possible.• Deliver against agreed KPI’s on delivery, quality and cost.• Determine how many workers are needed to man the operations function• Manage manpower to deliver optimum results.• Work with Factory Managers to ensure all steps of production run smoothly and efficiently• Motivating operations workers to continually achieve factory targets.• Screening, recruiting and training new operations workers.• Ensure liaison with sales regarding any dispatching issues.• Ensure that warehousing machinery is in good working order, improving process times and increasing productivity • Diagnose origin of breakdowns, including human error, and troubleshoot problems• Hire technicians to maintain buildings and equipment for maximum safety and efficiency.QUALITY & ISO TASKS: • Implement, maintain and sustain the Company QMS • Training and supporting employees on QMS process• Analysis of QMS data • Development of an Occupational Health & Safety Management System
