About Gabriel Boyle
I am a postdoctoral researcher at Seattle Children’s Research Institute studying how chromatin regulation and cell cycle control shape therapeutic response in high-risk pediatric leukemias. My work focuses on fusion-driven acute myeloid leukemia, where I integrate functional genomics, epigenomics, and chemogenomic screening to identify rational drug combinations that improve efficacy while reducing treatment-related toxicity.I have extensive experience with high-throughput experimental and computational approaches, including CRISPR-based genetic screens, CUT & Tag/CUT & RUN, transcriptomics, and multi-omic data integration. I am particularly interested in how chromatin remodeling complexes interface with cell cycle regulation to create therapeutic vulnerabilities in cancer. My long-term goal is to lead an independent research program at the intersection of functional genomics and translational oncology, with a focus on developing mechanism-guided combination therapies for pediatric cancers.
