ABOUT GABRIELA POLANCO-FERREYRA

Hi, I am a UX/UI designer who wants to be part of the digital revolution. My goal is to conjugate my background in law with my new career path and get a shot at making a positive impact in the world. I genuinely believe I can create and develop digital products while contributing to social change. It is my motivation. A lawyer has a lot in common with a UX UI designer, since they both have the same purpose and core: resolve problems by understanding needs. I believe I have the right skills to analyze problems and bring solutions to them, of course in the easiest way possible, but also having empathy as my north star. Also, my master\'s in Mediation and Resolution of conflicts helped me gain abilities to work with different people and resolve disputes through active listening, adaptability, communication, creative thinking, and empathy, among others. I believe that the internet and technology are potent tools that allow us to make this world more accessible and equal. We can change societies by designing digital products in a new and disruptive way, and I want to be part of it. I\'m always open to inspiring projects that need a young and bold vision, to which I can contribute with my ideas and learn from others.
