ABOUT GABRIELA PEREZ
I’m a first-generation, senior student at NYU Tandon School of Engineering with a growing passion for renewable energy and sustainability. As I progress in my studies, I’ve become deeply motivated to pursue work that addresses today’s pressing environmental challenges and contributes to a cleaner, more sustainable future.My experience spans both technical support and engineering roles. I started as an IT assistant in a computer lab, where I realized that I thrive outside of office work. Later, as a Technical Engineer Support intern, I gained valuable hands-on experience, moving across campus, troubleshooting, and supporting projects. These experiences solidified my interest in fieldwork and labs environment where I can apply my skills directly, collaborate with others, and see the real-world impact of my contributions.Looking ahead, I’m seeking full-time opportunities in power systems and renewable energy where I can combine my technical background with my passion for sustainability. Ultimately, my goal is to help create eco-friendly solutions that give back to communities and make our world safer and more resilient.
