I have experience as an additive development engineer in the aerospace and automotive industries, working on laser powder bed fusion printing for a range of alloys. This includes optimizing the additive manufacturing process, whether that is using Python tools for running and designing experiments, developing machine calibrations and defining requirements, or running through parameter development for improved throughput. Previous experiences include interning for NASA Langley Research Center working on solar sail manufacturing, as well as for HP working on simulations for metal 3D printing binder jet and experiments to optimize the 3D metal printing process.
