As a producer and line producer, I’ve worked on scripted and documentary feature and TV projects across the US and internationally. Many have been low budget – $40K to $5M – and I’ve loved figuring out creative ways to stretch a budget while maintaining a high production value, ensuring crew safety, and maintaining a positive work environment. I’ve developed a reputation among crew for being transparent about rates and budgets, and the people I work with know that I prioritize their safety and livelihood. I have strong relationships with vendors across the industry, and I’m able to negotiate great rates for locations and equipment. In addition to handling logistics, I contribute creatively to my projects, shaping story and casting decisions. On GIGANTE, a docuseries for Hulu about the long-running, cultural staple, variety show SABADO GIGANTE, I pitched segments for guest interviews and liaised directly with talent to ensure that the diverse range of Latinx voices was represented.
