ABOUT GABRIELA DUARTE
My professional journey began during my teenage years, where I held leading roles in theatrical productions in my hometown of Salvador. At 18, I moved to Rio de Janeiro to pursue dual degrees concurrently: one in filmmaking and another at the most prestigious drama school in the country. Following the completion of my education, I relocated to New York City, where I engaged in further academic endeavors and actively participated in numerous productions within the industry. Guided by the wisdom of my esteemed mentor, Vincent D’Onofrio, I made the strategic decision to establish myself in Los Angeles, a city I now proudly call home. Throughout my career trajectory, I have maintained a steadfast commitment to continuous learning and a rigorous dedication to my craft. My unwavering openness to new experiences, respectful demeanor, and resilient, positive attitude—particularly in the face of adversity—have proven instrumental in navigating diverse cultural contexts. I take great pride in my current role as a valued contributor to the esteemed team at Netflix, a testament to my unwavering passion and relentless pursuit of excellence within the entertainment industry.
