Job Summary:The Transportation Analyst is a key part of the Transportation Operations team tasked with managing Hershey’s transportation planning function, collaborating with carrier partners & internal stakeholders to deliver enterprise service & on-time delivery targets. This position will act as a liaison between Hershey and our 3PL transportation planning provider to ensure systems are operating properly & communications & expectations are clearly defined & Hershey is delivering customer needs. Role Responsibilities:Provide oversite regarding the successful pick up of loads from HSY Production facilities/co-man/co-pack & delivery to Hershey (HSY) Distribution Centers & customers to meet service & top-line goalsFacilitate issue resolutions related to customer or HSY facility deliveries, pickups at HSY or vendor locations and/or issues with Hershey contracted carriers; issues may occur between 3PL, HSY customers, HSY Global Shared Services, HSY plants, HSY contracted Co-packers/ Co-manufacturers, Vendor/Suppliers and/or Transportation Carrier PartnersEnsure data flow & proper communication between Hershey and 3PL transportation planning systems to enable the transportation planning, Stock Transfer Orders and successful pickup and delivery of loads; data includes Delivery Notes, Bills of Lading, Carrier Selections, Distribution Center load times and Delivery Note consolidations.Process SAP workflow, ensure data integrity & perform other systematic tasks in a timely manner.Support systems, transportation planning & customer service requirements for alliance partnersGenerate, recommend and/or implement suggestions for continuous improvement related to efficient processing of orders, carrier selection, data flow, customer issue resolution, communication between 3PL Logistics Solution Provider and Hershey.
