About Gabriel Martinez Cabrera
G. Martinez Cabrera is a community organizer, educator and storyteller who works at the intersection of workforce development, education, and advocacy. He helped build the Beacon Project, a national network of adult education sites that were successfully leveraging technology to serve some of the hardest-to-reach and hardest-to-teach adult learners. He continued this work at the Academy of Hope in Washington, DC as its Deputy Chief Program Officer, where he oversaw recruitment and Workforce Development programming.
