I work as a multi-axis lathe operator, using the Mori Seiki SL2500 model with live tooling to manufacture aircraft engine components, specifically for the Pratt & Whitney line. I am responsible for the preparation, operation, and adjustment of parts, working with various types of ferrous materials. Additionally, I perform part measurements using coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to ensure compliance with strict GD & T (Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing) tolerances. My role involves analyzing technical drawings, ensuring quality and precision throughout the machining process.
