About Gabriel Adame

After teaching for 8 years at three different secondary schools, both in Austin and El Paso, TX, I’ve decided to pursue administration and further my education at the University of Texas at Austin. Coaching varsity sports and teaching advanced science courses finally led me to a Teacher of the Year award last year. My experiences across title 1 schools and A-rated campuses have helped shape my equity-focused, leadership lens.I’ve had an amazing experience this first year at McCallum high school supervising both the math and special education departments. I’m grateful to be part of such a diverse, caring community. However I can serve my students, families, faculty and staff, I’m willing to help in any capacity while growing alongside them.
