About Gabi Ybarra

My name is Gabi Ybarra, and I am a senior at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, majoring in Marketing and Leading Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, with a minor in Spanish. I currently serve as the CX Consulting Marketing Vice President and am actively involved in Mentor Collective, Kelley-to-Kelley Mentor, and A Kid Again. I am also a part of the Kelley Mental Health Task Force, where I help promote and destigmatize mental health across campus.During the summer of my sophomore year, I interned at Donovan CPAs as a Marketing intern, where I designed materials and conducted market research. In my junior year, I worked remotely for Dress for Success Indianapolis, creating brand guides and marketing materials. This past summer, I interned at Eli Lilly as a Marketing intern, where I structured a database to ensure a smooth patient journey to therapy. I also held a leadership position in the Delta Gamma Organization, planning a campus-wide event with a well-known speaker. I have participated in exchange programs in Costa Rica, Chile, and Spain, which were transformative experiences that exposed me to new cultures. Additionally, I studied abroad in Hungary, where I learned about the evolving business landscape.In the future, I aspire to become head of the marketing committee for the Mental Health Task Force. I also hope to continue studying abroad to enhance my Spanish-speaking abilities and knowledge of international business. Post-graduation, I am interested in pursuing a full-time marketing position. I also aim to hold leadership roles to contribute to decision-making and mentor others.
