Greenfielded VMware vSAN v6.6 in American Fork, UT and Watertown, MA replacing all block storage. Added vSphere management clusters running vSAN in both locations to house all VMware management VMs. Upgraded all clusters to vSphere 7.Subsequently closed South Carolina and Texas locations. Used Zerto to migrate VMs from Texas to Utah location.Specified Dell R750 servers for Utah datacenter hardware refresh. Deployed Dell OpenManage Enterprise and OMEVV for host management and automated hardware level remediation to meet VMware vSAN requirements. Installed vSphere 7 then upgraded to vSphere 8 when business requirements necessitated v8 feature sets.For Massachusetts datacenter cage relocation I was responsible for the decommission of two VNX arrays, the relocation of our Cohesity cluster and two vSphere vSAN clusters.Currently migrating 100TB business data from VNX 7500 storage system to Cohesity cluster in Utah. Learning Varonis product suite for improved data management.(Current on-prem DatAdvantage and soon SaaS full suite)
