I am a double major in Packaging and Applied Engineering Sciences at Michigan State University, but more than that, I am someone who believes in the power of persistence, adaptability, and meaningful work. My journey hasn’t been about just checking boxes or chasing a title; it’s been about solving real problems, making an impact, and growing into the best version of myself. I know what it means to work through challenges, to take on responsibilities that push you past your comfort zone. In the automotive industry, I didn’t just see machines; I saw people depending on those machines. I saw how a single defect could slow down production, how a missed detail could affect an entire team. So I stepped up. I learned how to troubleshoot, how to improve processes, and how to be the person others could rely on when things went wrong. That’s what drives me; not just the technical side of engineering, but the human side. The side where problem-solving isn’t just about fixing a system, but about helping the people behind it. I want my work to matter. Whether it’s ensuring a medical device package reaches a patient safely, reducing waste through sustainable packaging, or optimizing manufacturing for efficiency, I want to contribute to solutions that make a real difference. But beyond my career, I believe in balance. I’ve learned that success isn’t just about grinding non-stop. It’s about finding meaning in the process. It’s about pushing yourself but also making time for what keeps you grounded. For me, that’s fitness. The gym isn’t just a place to lift weights; it’s where I’ve learned discipline, mental toughness, and the value of pushing through when things get hard. Just like in life, progress doesn’t come easy; but when you commit, when you show up even on the hard days, that’s when you grow. I don’t want to just go through the motions in my career or in life. I want to create, to innovate, and to surround myself with people who challenge me to be better.
