About Gabe Minton

Gabe Minton is EVP and CIO at Mortgage Connect where he provides leadership and vision for the technology and information strategy, including the development of next generation digital platforms to facilitate a seamless experience between the consumer and lender and to maximize operational efficiencies.Prior to joining Mortgage Connect, he was EVP and CIO at Guild Mortgage where he was focused on running and growing the information technology division and developing next generation platforms and services for an established and forward-thinking mortgage company. Prior to Guild, he was SVP and CIO at PHH Mortgage where he focused on transforming the information technology division to meet regulatory and customer needs of the largest banks. Prior to PHH, he was SVP Information Services at ServiceLink, where he was responsible for managing the engineering group and facilitating the strategic direction of their products and services.Prior to joining ServiceLink, he was Chief Strategy Officer for Motivity Solutions, Inc. where he was responsible for the overall strategic sales marketing and licensing of Motivity’s products and 3rd party alliances. Prior to joining Motivity, he served as COO for Accenture Mortgage Cadence. His responsibilities included the overall development and core architecture of the products, product management, licensing strategies, and strategic initiatives.Before joining Mortgage Cadence, Minton was an executive of the Mortgage Bankers Association, and a pioneer in the establishment of technology standards for the mortgage industry through MISMO, which he helped to create and managed from and served on the board until 2018. He has won multiple key awards in the mortgage industry and has more than 25 years of experience working with and creating software systems, products, and standards, including work at the U.S. Navy.Minton holds a Bachelor of Science with a double-major in Computer Science and Statistics, and minor in Mathematics from Radford University, VA, and a Master of Software Engineering degree from the University of Maryland. He has designed and taught Computer Science and Mortgage Banking technology curriculum for the MBA, the George Washington University, and Hood College.
