ABOUT GABE LOMBARD

I grew up in Los Angeles, California and from a young age had an interest in business. I grew up skateboarding, began several small brands selling skateboarding products to my friends, and discovered that I wanted to study business in college. Upon graduating high school, I decided to attend the University of Arizona for a perfect combination of a good business school, great weather, good sports, and excellent social life. From my freshman year, I applied to join Eller ELITE, a group of aspiring business majors looking to get ahead on networking skills and resume development. I then decided to join a social fraternity for which I spent the remaining three years of college serving on the executive board as Vice President of Health and Safety, Executive Vice President, and President. My time on the executive board taught me invaluable lessons about personal accountability, communication and management skills, team-building, critical thinking, and problem-solving. During my sophomore year, I joined a professional business fraternity, for which I completed a series of 40+ mock professional interviews. Joining this group helped me learn how to conduct myself in a professional environment, and helped me build a network of hard-working, like-minded individuals. Upon graduation from the University of Arizona, I accepted a full-time position at BDO as an Assurance Associate and spent one more year obtaining my master\'s of science in accounting at the University of Arizona. I have been working as an assurance associate since October 2021, and have exceptional experience across a variety of clients and industries. I have worked for both public and private clients and gained experience in many aspects of substantive testing, planning, and risk assessment. I am currently studying to take the CPA exam and I hope to have all four tests finished by the end of 2023. For fun, I love to golf, skateboard, train kickboxing, train jiu jitsu, listen to podcasts, and play video games. I would love to talk to and connect with anyone that has any interests in common!
