As a Packaging Intern at Steelcase, I support the development and optimization of innovative packaging solutions that balance sustainability, cost-efficiency, and product protection. I collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and improve packaging for a wide range of office furniture and architectural products.I actively participate in packaging validation testing, using ISTA and ASTM standards to ensure performance and compliance. I work with suppliers and internal manufacturing teams to coordinate packaging line trials and troubleshoot shipping or handling issues.This role strengthens my skills in problem-solving, communication, and project management, while giving me firsthand exposure to how packaging integrates into the larger supply chain and impacts product delivery. I’m proud to contribute to Steelcase’s commitment to innovation, design, and sustainability.
