About Gabby K.

With over ten years experience in communications, marketing and events, I have worked in both agency and in-house roles, across a variety of industries, including professional and financial services, technology, aviation, consumer goods and F&B. Having graduated from Cardiff University in 2012 with a BSc in Geography & City Planning, I quickly returned home to Hong Kong where I started my career in marcomms gaining valuable experience at a variety of SMEs and then a boutique PR, marketing and events agency.I then made the move in-house, spending over five years working in both global and regional corporate communications roles at Vistra, Deloitte and CFA Institute with a big focus on change management and M&A, as well as executive and internal communications. In 2019 I joined The SR Group managing the marketing strategy for the group and their family of recruitment brands across Asia and the Middle East. During my four years with The SR Group I was asked to relocate to New York where I headed up the marketing for North America until 2023.I have also been heavily involved in various mentorship initiatives including the internal programme at The SR Group, as well as the 2019 WiFA Mentorship Programme and 2021 APACD Sustainable Communications Programme. Outside of the office, I love sport, particularly playing hockey. Having represented Hong Kong at an international level previously, I then played and coached at the Hong Kong Football Club before moving to the US where I play and coach at the Greenwich Field Hockey Club.
