About Gabby Hunt
My most recent work experience was at The Partnership for Public Service in the Public Service Leadership Institute. My day to day work focused on assisting with multiple programs offered by the Partnership, notably the Excellence in Government Fellows Program, promoting leadership development among GS-14 to GS-15 federal employees. In addition, I supported the Foundations in Public Service Leadership program, which provides leadership coaching and foundational skills to mid-level federal employees seeking to enhance their long-term career in the federal government. Lastly, I worked with the Benchmarks team conducting outreach to external speakers to facilitate conversation during program sessions. I received my master’s degree in Criminology from The George Washington University. During my time in graduate school I wrote my thesis on how education policy at the federal and state level impacts the use of exclusionary discipline in schools, contributing to the school to prison pipeline. I analyzed school discipline data from Texas, Virginia, and Illinois to conduct my analysis. I have sharpened my passion for community service throughout my years of school, and discovered a newfound passion for public service in my previous position. I have a broad skill set from my various work and volunteer experiences that I enjoy using to help others, and hope to continue fostering growth and connection with my peers.
