Confucius once said,\"Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.\"I am a passionate and driven aspiring library professional in training who hopes to ultimately change the landscape of libraries and community outreach. I began my career and calling in libraries a bit later than most, having previously worked within education, public housing, and the writing/editing/blogging realm; however, that variety in experience has given me the necessary skills to transition into the field of libraries and made me realize that working within a library could encompass all of those skills and passions for each field I found during that time: writing, editing, customer service, education, design, reading, working with books, event planning and program assistance, followed by so much more.    As a course assistant for IU East, I assist professors throughout the semester with a variety of tasks, such as grading assignments, following up with students who have questions, and acting as a second contact for students when the professor is unavailable, as well as other duties as assigned by the professor. This position is on an as needed, per semester basis. I currently work with the School of Arts and Humanities and the School of Business.
